In addition, in the current issue, we started to share publications provided by Emerging-Europe Alliance - a business initiative that was established in London and aims to promote business activities in the Central and Eastern Europe region. Our main interview is a conversation with Board Members of Mikomax - an organization that has been supporting the development of the BSS sector in Poland for years, actively influencing the arrangements of operational centers and implementing office solutions that optimize the work of companies throughout Poland. Bringing up the area of work at BSS, this time we decided to present on our pages publications from GFT and AkzoNobel as well as practical knowledge, which this time experts from Chudzik and Partners directed on changing the employer's obligations in the scope of keeping and storing employee’s documentation.

"Session" cookies are temporary files that are stored in the final user device to logout time, moment of leaving the website or disabling the software (Web browser). "Persistent" cookies are stored in end user device by the time specified in the parameters of cookies or until their removal by the user.

The Portal uses the following types of the cookie files:

  • "necessary" cookies, which allow the use of the services available within the Portal, for example authentication cookies used for the services that require authentication on the Portal;
  • security cookies, for example used to detect fraud in the authentication process on the Portal;
  • "the performance" cookies, allowing to collect information about how you use the Portal;
  • "functional" cookies allowing to "remember" user-selectable settings and personalization of the User interface, for example with regard to the chosen language or region from which he/she comes from, the user font size, appearance of the website, etc.;
  • "advertising" cookies, allowing to provide users with more advertising content tailored to their interests.

In many cases, the software used to view Web pages (Web browser) by default allows the storage of cookies on the final user device. Portal Users may, at any time, change the settings for cookies. These settings can be changed, in particular in such a way as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the settings of Web browser or to inform of their every inclusion in User device. Detailed information about the options of how to handle cookies are available in the software settings (Web browser).

The Portal Administrator informs that the restriction of the use of cookies may affect some functionality available on the Portal.

Cookies added on the User’s final device may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Portal Administrator.
